As we move into the visual artefact creation and ethnographies later in the course, you'll have a chance to do more 'making' and will probably want to use your lifestream to record those processes as well. It'll all come together! That sounds like a great approach, Carol. I've signed up to tumblr and am seeing what I can do with it....it does seem to be freezing my desktop but it doesnt take much to do that so will take a better look later on my mac. am not sure how the lifestream will develop but I'm trying to comment on and bookmark anything that's relating to what I'm reading and on the film extracts so I can say more about that relation in my blog comment at the end of the week...does that sound like a good idea? Quite a few people in previous years have found Tumblr a good addition to their lifestream. It lets you post small things - like a a quote or an image - without having to make a whole blog post. It's likely that you'll find more things you want to add in as the weeks go on. Aim for 5 or 6 different feeds that you regularly contribute content to. We'll give everyone some lifestream feedback in week 5, but in the meantime you can check out the course handbook for suggestions and to remind yourself of the assessment criteria for the lifestream. :-) great to see you experimenting with your lifestream, Carol.
