Hi,
I’m working and living in the UAE at present. The landscape here couldn’t be any more different to Scotland but it has inspired me to paint and I also enjoy taking snapshots of the people and the architecture. I’m no great shakes at either but I find both enjoyable. I’m looking forward to getting to know and working with everyone on the course.
I’ve added the picture above, which was taken on a recent trip to The Seychelles, because it has such a calming effect on me.

. Although not originally from Scotland, I am based in Glasgow at the moment (but just for another 10 days) and love the landscape of the Highlands and the blend of the old and the modern in Glasgow. The UAE must be so different though … I’d love to see your photos (and paintings if possible), is there anywhere you share them?
