welcome, Neil – you’ve chosen a cool theme! I’m looking forward to working with you this semester. I notice that you’ve got two ‘lifestream’ pages – you can delete the one that’s just “Lifestream” and keep “My Lifestream” (which divides things up by date). Hope to see you tonight at the film festival.
Nodding in agreement here too! Hand is very descriptive rather than prescriptive – maybe that’s just the nature of that chapter and critical points come later? My response to his claim about the speed of technological change was the same as yours but with an eye to cultural responses in Victorian Britain – comments on industrialisation then express the same concerns about threat and promise – one commentator even refers to a growing network of telegraph wires as a ‘world wide web’!

Hi Jen. Thanks for the note! Could you tell me how to delete “Lifestream”? Sorry but the new tech is making me jumpy! Thanks!

I really like your theme too Neil, it looks so good, very professional. I’m still working out how to make changes to mine!
