Nice Ania. I love the Wordle displays as a summarisation of a body of work. I have found though that they pick up and overemphasise common filler words, especially when trying to do a Wordle of a set of references or publications. I wish they could include a list of words you DON’T wnat to include.

Thanks Austin for your comment. Yes, I know what you mean about the common fillers. Wordle could offer some solution in this respect, something more advanced than editing out the common words or numbers (in the language setting of the menu). I’ve just done a quick search for word cloud generators and it seems like http://worditout.com offers an editing option and so does http://www.tagxedo.com (which also creates clouds of various shapes). Something to test out?

I love your Wordle display too Ania, such a nice way to display your thoughts. Some of your phrases really jumped out at me, e.g. ‘steep learning curve’, ‘where does the time go’ and ‘groping in the dark’ . You seem to be such a pro at this that it surprised, and comforted, me when you said you had similar qualms as me about Lifestream. I’ll chec kout the websites you mention.
